Curated for Ad's Sake #2: Amber Mealing
The Melbourne director offers high camp and high contrast.
Great people in and around advertising have great taste in art.
I wanted to know what turns them on, so I asked them.
🧑🎨 You’re welcome.
Amber Mealing is a Director and Creative who describes herself as the offspring of Divine and John Waters. Slay. She honed her craft in New York, working on ad campaigns for Movado, Samsung and Estee Lauder. More recently she’s been doing music videos and fashion content films in Australia.

🎥 But I’m a Cheerleader (1999)
It’s camp, has awkward physical humor, incredible colour theory, and addresses extremely pertinent topics in a charming way.
🍊Natasha Lyonne
Speaking of…I am obsessed with all things Natasha, her rough raspy voice, ‘masculine’ walk, great sense of style. I think she is an icon for being someone that does not take herself or life too seriously.
